How to use

Simple to use — three routines, none of them complicated

Apply once or twice a day to clean, unbroken skin. Avoid the eyes and face. That is the whole instruction — the rest is how to make it a habit.

Prime · Perform · Recover

Prime. Perform. Recover.

  1. 01

    Prime — before training

Apply a thin layer to thighs, calves, shoulders or other target areas. Massage in circular motions as part of your warm-up and experience the warming sensation. Make it a regular habit before every workout.

  2. 02

    Perform — move

    Move. Train. Run. Lift. Play.

  3. 03

    Recover — after training

Reapply and massage into tired areas after training. Enjoy the cooling sensation as part of your post-workout wind-down.

01

2 minutes · before training

The pre-session check-in

  1. Warm the tube in your hand and take an amount the size of a five-cent coin per muscle group.
  2. Work it in with the heel of your hand, following the length of the muscle — calves and hamstrings for running, shoulders and lats for climbing or swimming, quads and hips for lifting.
  3. Note anything that feels stiffer than usual. That information is the point of the two minutes.
  4. Then do a real warm-up: five to ten minutes of easy movement, building to your first working set.
02

10 minutes · after training

The evening wind-down

  1. Shower first. Clean, dry skin absorbs it faster and you will use less.
  2. Work upwards along the limb in long, slow strokes, then circle the areas that took the most load.
  3. Give it a minute to absorb before you dress. It should not feel slick.
  4. Pair it with the boring things that work: water, food, and going to bed at a reasonable hour.
03

3 minutes · at a desk

The office reset

  1. A pea-sized amount along each side of the neck and across the top of the shoulders.
  2. Slow circles towards the collarbone, thumbs doing the work, jaw relaxed.
  3. Ten shoulder rolls backwards, ten chin tucks, then stand up.
  4. Twice a day beats once a week. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon are the natural slots.

Three questions

Find the routine you will actually keep

1. What are you doing?
2. When does it bother you?
3. How much time will you give it?

Sensible cautions

  • External use only. Keep away from eyes, mouth and broken skin.
  • Not recommended for children under 5.
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before use.
  • Patch test on the inner forearm if you have sensitive skin.
  • Stop if the skin becomes red or irritated.
  • Severe, sudden or post-injury pain needs a doctor, not a cream.

Your sport

Routines for the way you actually train

Hyrox, padel and running load the body differently, so the two minutes before and the ten minutes after look different too. Pick yours.

VITAS provides a warming sensation when massaged into muscles before training, and a cooling sensation afterwards. These sensory experiences are part of your active warm-up and wind-down routine.
